Hearing set for Friday on the case filed against Lily Uy, et.al.

Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 24, which is also a designated Special Commercial Court, will hear on Friday, 1 April 2011 at 0900H the petition for a Temporary Restraining Order versus the recently "succeeded" and elected officers of Brigade.

In their petition, complainants Eagle 3; Tutuban Kilo; Brixton 8; Nova 1; Gryphon Alpha and Triton Bravo averred that the manner by which Brigade elected the incoming Officers for 2011-2013 was manifestly out of order.

(A copy of the complaint will be posted here in the coming days, be sure to check back from time to time)

In their first hearing a few weeks back, Omar Francisco and Beegee Gregorio, lawyering for  themselves and co-accused/defendants Francisco Guevarra, Lily Uy, Joseph Wy, Mario Tan, Joseph Ang, Enrique Dy and Ansong Ong asked the Honorable Court to grant them five days extension to respond to the case.  The request was granted, giving the defendants ample time to prepare for the case.

In their reply to the accusations, the defendants maintained that the elections conducted last 24 February 2011 was in order.  The defendants also submitted a Motion to Sanction the complainants for allegedly misleading the Court in their complaint.

The case will be heard on Friday, 1 April 2011.
In the spirit of transparency, complete records of the case will be posted here in the coming days.  This will be done to show everyone who's hiding what and why.

We hope for your patience.
