Kaso laban sa mga Oportunista sa Brigade, kalat na sa mga pahayagan!

The recent case filed against "assumptive/presumptive" Officers of the Association of Philippines Volunteers Fire Brigades have been captured in the various print media.

Just yesterday, 30 March 2011, Page 3 of BULGAR headlines the column of Imee Marcos which bears the title "APVFBI Elections, NASUNOG!".

A few days ago, BANDERA, the tabloid counterpart of the Philippine Daily Inquirer carried in its contents a similar story.

Manila Standard has also published the same story over the past few days.

This is pretty alarming and the general membership of the Brigade deserves to know the truth behind the case.

Why has the case been filed?

We are all familiar with "VISIBLE SMOKE", and while the old saying says "where there's smoke, there's fire", we must be vigilant enough to douse the fire, before it reaches GENERAL ALARM where it's a free-for-all and it's out of control.

After all, a simple electrical fire can result to a pretty devastating inferno.

This is pretty embarrassing for all those indicted in the case, particularly the incoming President Miss Lily Uy.
