A Fire Chief and OIC meeting has been called by the Fire Marshall, PAPA-5 on 1 April 2011 at 1900H to be held at the Association's Headquarters.
This came as a surprise to most members considering that traditionally, no Fire Chief/OIC meeting is held on the months of April and May in deference to the incoming Officers.
Similarly, it has been traditionally practiced that no Directors' meeting is held in the same months for the same reasons. It is yet to be seen if a Directors' meeting will be called for next week.
Makes one wonder, why the change of practice?
Is it to check on Brigade loyalty?
